Sara Bonacci

Born right here in Gratiot County, Sara Bonacci grew up in various towns throughout Michigan. It wasn’t until 2009 that she finally landed back “home.” A 2001 graduate of Central Michigan University, Sara was a teacher for 8 years before launching a photography business, which she successfully ran for over 10 years before joining the Chamber as Executive Director. Sara has a deep love and appreciation for Gratiot County, and has worked and volunteered on several boards and committees, including Alma Action Association, Child Advocacy, St Louis – Alma Rotary, Mid-Michigan Foster and Adoptive Coalition, 100 Women Who Care, Arts United, and the Alma Women’s Club. Sara has been married to her husband, Jeff, since 2001 and together they have four children: Jake, Hannah, Luke, and Ally.
Sheila Bishop
Executive Assistant
Sheila Bishop was born and raised on a farm just outside of Ithaca. She graduated from Ithaca High School as an honor student. Previous to the Chamber, she worked 25 years in accounting at Avalon/Tahoe Pontoon. Sheila has been with the Chamber for over 15 years! She is a widow and has 3 stepchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, and 2 step-great-grandsons.
