“Here is why I joined the chamber: First of all, I know that the chamber will always talk highly of their chamber members. The free advertising from the Ribbon Cutting and allowing us to put coupons or stuff in the new member packets is very useful. Also, when joining the chamber, you can get on the committees and get to know other business in the local area. You an also network with them and get to help out and market your business in the community for all events that are being held (this is huge). If you are on a committee potentially they will have meetings at your location which will boost your sales. Also, members come and visit your store and purchase item from you. They shop local.”
